Mrs. Mary Bolling Jordan, 95, a resident of Luverne, AL, passed away on Friday, Sept. 19, 2014. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 21, 2014 from the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Childs officiating. Interment followed in Rutledge Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Jordan is preceded in death by her husband, George Alex Jordan; daughter, Mary Alice Jordan; two sons, George Edward Jordan and Jesse Ray Jordan; sister, Ersie Mae Acreman; and a brother, H.O. Bolling. She is survived by five children, Carol Dillon, Betty (Jerry) Childs, David (Debra) Jordan, Gary (Patsy) Jordan, and Jake (April) Jordan; two daughters-in-law, Judy Jordan and Julie Jordan; 19 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Louise Holladay and Myrtice Laird; and brother, Christopher Bolling. Active pallbearers were Niki Jordan, Bo Jordan, Shane Dillon, Scott Childs, Alex Jordan and Michael Jordan. Honorary pallbearers were Dusty Jordan, Pat Jordan and Joshua Childs.
