Mr. Ernest Gerald McGough, 52, a resident of Honoraville died Sept. 6 at his residence.  Funeral services were held Sept. 8 at the chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Looney officiating.  Interment followed in Coolspring Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.  Mr. McGough was preceded in death by his father, James A. McGough, Sr.; a sister, Mary Jewell Post; and three brothers, L.J. McGough, Hubert McGough, and Pruitt McGough.  Survivors include his mother, Ola Mae Walton McGough; four sisters, Joyce F. Faulk, Jackie M. Hartin, Alma Ruth Lowery, and Shirley Ann Thomas; two brothers, James A. McGough, Jr. and John R. McGough; and a number of nieces and nephews.  Active pallbearers were Myles Horne, Dale McCullough, Craig Horne, Calvert Duncan, Chad Horne, and Ray McCullough.
