Mrs. Lillian Carter Catrett, 81, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, died Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014. A memorial service will be held at the Troy Seventh Day Adventist Church on Saturday, Aug. 30, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. Mrs. Catrett was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Aubrey Catrett; her son, Vance Evans Catrett; and her brother, Leohn Carter. She is survived by four children, Wilane Hancock, Claudine Hale, Vaneesa Harris and Keith Catrett; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Maurine (Gene) Estes, Vivian Carter and Celia (Troy) Raia. In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorial donations be made to the Seventh Day Adventist Church designated to “THE ADRA FUND.”
