Hershell Grady Sampley, 77, a resident of Greenville, died on Aug. 12 at his home. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, Aug. 14, at Ebenezer East Baptist Church Cemetery at 10 a.m. with Rev. Herbert Brown officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Mr. Sampley is survived by his wife, Eva Sampley of Greenville; son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Kelli Sampley of Greenville; granddaughters, Kristena Sanford and Kaula Sanford of Greenville; sister, Judy Gafford of Honoraville, Ala.; brother, Lamar Sampley of Honoraville, Ala.; and many nieces and nephews.
