Stolen fire truck found in Luverne

A fire truck stolen from a Butler County volunteer fire department was found in Luverne on Sunday.

The truck, which according to Butler County Sheriff  Kenny Harden, was stolen from the Central Volunteer Fire Department, located on Halso Mill Road, sometime between 4:30 p.m. on Saturday and 8 a.m. on Sunday was found on Oakwood Drive in Luverne.

The truck is a 1986 one-ton diesel brush truck with a 300-gallon tank.

There appears to be no signs of forced entry at the fire station, and no one was with the vehicle when it was found.

The truck is a 1986 one-ton diesel, and has Central Volunteer Fire Department decals on the doors.
