Mr. Billy Gene Hill, 82, a resident of Brantley, died Monday, Aug. 4, 2014. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 7 at the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Sherry Furlow officiating. Interment followed in Springhill Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Hill is preceded in death by his wife, Jacquelyn Taylor Hill; his parents, Elmer and Tisie Cook Hill; two sisters, Grace Joiner and Gladys Posey; and three brothers, Jack Hill, Joe Hill and Bobby Oneal Hill. Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Gene (Debra) Hill and Mark Robinson (Patty) Hill; four grandchildren, Brandon T. (Malerie) Hill, Brent R. (Kerrie) Hill, Adam Robinson Hill and Peyton Nicole Hill; two brothers, Lister (Marilyn) Hill and Bobby H. (Merle) Hill. Active pallbearers will be Brandon Hill, Brent Hill, Adam Hill, Chip Hill, Craig Hill and Danny Posey.
