Shirley Florence Pate, 48, a resident of Brantley, Ala., passed away on July 18. A funeral service was held July 21 at the Johnson Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Stephen Dubose and Rev. Andrew Smith officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home directing arrangements. Survivors include: John Lee Jinwright, Highland Home, Ala., Robert Newman, Troy, Ala.; sisters, Patricia Longham, Brantley, Ala., Cathy Smith, Sherry Olive, both of Georgiana, Ala.; brothers, Lester Burgans, Goshen, Ala., Ricky Burgans, Opp, Ala., Lamar Burgans, Willie Lee Burgans, both of Goshen, Ala.; one grandchild; three sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; a lot of friends, and a special friend, Wallis Kelley, Dothan, Ala..
