The Luverne High School Dance Team, under the direction of Miss Daun Long Pittman, will hold its second dance camp for girls ages four and up on Saturday, July 26.

The cost will be $25 per girl with a free T-shirt.

Parents should drop girls off at the LHS old cafeteria, which will serve as the dance room, at 9 a.m.

The theme this year is “I’ve Got 99 Problems, But Dance Ain’t One,” by Ariana Grande.

The day will be packed with a variety of activities, including dancing, arts and crafts, water play, contest, movies and popcorn.

Participants are asked to wear a swimsuit with flip flops and shorts.

Lunch will be provided, but be sure to bring a water bottle and a towel.

There will be a parent performance and award ceremony at 4 p.m. in the Luverne High School gym.

All dancers are invited back to perform on Aug. 21 at the first home football game against Opp.

Dancers will meet in the dance room at 5 p.m. in shorts, tennis shoes and a camp T-shirt, and will perform pre-game at around 6:45 p.m.

All dancers will get in free by wearing their dance camp T-shirt.

The girls dance camp is one of the biggest fundraisers for the Luverne High School Dance Team, and the money raised goes toward new uniforms and practice wear.

Girls interested in attending the camp can pick up forms in the Luverne High School front office or contact a dance team member, or email daunhp@yahoo.com for more info.

All money and forms must be turned in to the front office or a dancer by July 18.
