Senior Airman Nicholas Paez, a graduate of Fort Dale Academy, was recently recognized as one of “Fairchild’s Finest” for his outstanding leadership as the radio frequency transmissions systems journeyman at Fairchild Air Force Base in Washington. The award is presented weekly at Fairchild Air Force Base and recognizes airmen for their sustained excellence in the performance of their duties. Paez is the son of John S. Thompson and Lisa Paez Thompson of Pintlala, Ala., and the late Victor R. Paez. He is the grandson of Lillie Black of Greenville and the late George M. Black, and Duane and Edith Williams of Greenville.
