Barney Lee Owens, 61, of Greenville, died on June 18. A graveside service will be held at Sunrise Memorial Park on Friday, June 20, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Ronnie Boulware officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 19, at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Barney is survived by his wife, Linda Jones Owens of Greenville; children, Timothy Lee Owens of Pine Apple, Ala., Connie Clanton (Andrew), Betty Owens and John Wesley Owens all of Greenville; grandchildren, Dillon Brown, Austin Lee Brown, Augustine Gail Clanton, Connie Danielle Clanton, Elizabeth Ilvea Ordonez and Emilee Ruth Ordonez; sisters, Sue Grier of Wetumpka, Ala., and Goldie Fike (Tommy) of Millbrook, Ala.; brothers, James Owens, Gene Wayne Owens (Laurie), Larry Owens and Glover “Bill” Owens (Mary Beth) all of Wetumpka, Ala.; and many nieces and nephews.
