The Greenville-Butler County Library turned into a laboratory on Thursday.
This week’s Scientific Experiments in the Activity Lab at the library reeled in approximately 20 kids who each had a blast. From crazy experiments, to the board game Sorry, participants kept a smile on their faces.
One example of these “kooky” experiments was putting your hand in what seemed to be just a glass of water, but getting a surprise when there were actually clear liquid balls inside. Other stations involved Legos, Coloring, “Way Cool Science Stuff,” and the board games Sorry and Operation.
Library employee Lee Johnson said: “I’m so excited to work with all the children and thrilled that the theme was science.”
Johnson was previously a science teacher in Georgia.
The library will also be hosting Summer Reading. Signup forms are available at Greenville Library.
