William Antone Edwards, of Brantley, has filed papers in federal court stating his intent to plead guilty to dog fighting charges.
A federal judge in Montgomery has scheduled his plea hearing for next week.
The arrests spanned multiple states and followed a four-year federal investigation that included officers attending fights and arresting individuals with bloody dogs in their vehicles.
Edwards will be the 10th of 14 defendants to plead guilty. Of the remaining four, two are still slated for trial and two are seeing pre-trial diversion programs.
