Will Bowman, visiting clubhouse manager for the Montgomery Biscuits and a Greenville native, met Tampa Bay Rays manager Joe Maddon in the clubhouse at Riverwalk Stadium Saturday.

The Biscuits are the Double-A affiliate of the Rays. The teams squared off in an exhibition game Saturday with the Biscuits scoring a 6-5 win.

Bowman is beginning his third season with the Biscuits.

The Greenville native is a graduate of Troy University and former Troy director of baseball operation. Following last season was named the Southern League’s top visiting clubhouse attendant — an award voted on by the Southern League’s managers and umpires.
