Current Crenshaw County Revenue Commissioner, Randall Petty, has qualified as a Republican candidate for revenue commissioner of Crenshaw County.

Petty was appointed by Gov.Robert Bentley.

He has been serving as revenue commissioner since Oct. 1, 2013.

“I have been honored to serve as your revenue commissioner and I solicit your support in the 2014 clection,” Petty said. “I pledge to be fair and honest and serve this office with professionalism.”

Petty has a degree in accounting from the University of Alabama and he has been a certified residential real property appraiser for more than 12 years. Petty has prior accounting and management experience in retail and corporate environments.

He is a resident of Crenshaw County and he has lived in northwest Crenshaw County for more than 21 years.

Petty has been married to Debbie Petty for 19 years and they have three children who attend Highland Home School.
