Crosby earns fellowship status

Dr. Robert L. Crosby has earned fellowship status in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

Fellowships are earned by dentists through a combination of education, research and clinical experience, a release says. Those who complete the program are allowed to added the designation “FICOI” after their names.

Based in Wayne, N.J., the International Congress of Oral Implantologists is a tax-exempt nonprofit dental education organization. It is an association of general dentists, oral and maxillofacial surgeons, periodontists, prosthodontists, endodontists, orthodontists, laboratory technicians, auxiliaries, industry representatives, researchers, faculty members, pre and post doctoral graduate dental students as well as the general public.

Its services include communicating scientific knowledge and improving the clinical practice of dental implantology through public-information programs, a scholarly journal, scientific meetings and research and education through its Implant Denistry Research and Education Foundation.

Crosby’s office is located at 100 N. Pine St. in Greenville.
