Mark Davis was recently named SMART’s team member of the month.

Victoria Bennett, the YFA team leader, nominated Davis, who was recognized on Feb. 6.

“Mark is a great employee who shows great ability to excel at his job,” Bennett said. “He has a good attitude and is always willing to lend a helping hand.  Mark really cares about his job and his team members and is always one of the first to volunteer to work on unscheduled days.”

For being named team member of the month, Davis was given a $100 gift card, a plaque and a reserved front door parking space for the month.

According to company officials, the team member of the month award recognizes outstanding performances by team members of SMART who have exemplified exceptional levels of work performance and displayed high regard and loyalty toward SMART and their job responsibilities.

Davis is now eligible for team member of the year.
