Olivene Sims, 84, a resident of Greenville, passed away on Feb. 19. A funeral service will be held Feb. 21 at Mt. Pisgah Church at 11 a.m. with Rev. Allen Stephenson officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home directing arrangements. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time at Mt. Pisgah Church. Ms. Sims is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Sims. Ms. Sims is survived by her daughter, Linda Holley, Greenville; sons, John Wayne Sims and Randall Sims, both of Greenville; brothers, Dewey Mosley, Mobile, and Thurston Mosley, Foley; grandchildren, Ramona Newton, Millbrook, Ala., Stephanie Maddox, Montgomery, Winston Sims and Whitman Sims, both of Greenville; great-grandchildren, Clay Newton, Greenville, Olive Maddox and Millie Maddox, both of Montgomery.
