Henry Eugene Jerkins, 61, a resident of McKenzie, Ala., passed away on Feb. 12. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Old Town Cemetery in Evergreen, Ala., with Johnson Funeral Home directing arrangements. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until service time. Mr. Jerkins is survived by his daughter, Amanda Barnes, Brewton, Ala.; son, Justin Jerkins, Brewton, Ala.; sisters, Lula Raines and Elaine Jerkins, both of McKenzie, Ala., Melissa Ballard, Florida, Henry Etta Wilson, South Carolina, and Mary Terrell, Texas; brothers, John Jerkins, Arkansas, and Edward  Jerkins, Texas; and three grandchildren.
