Beatrice Perdue, 84, a resident of Greenville, passed away on Jan. 31. Funeral service will be held at Antioch East Baptist Church on Feb. 3 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Ronnie Boulware officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Perdue; sisters, Ruth Owens, Jewell Moseley, Nellie Perdue, Mattie Kelso and Mary Blalock. Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Vaitis (Joe) of Montgomery, Ala., and Joan Perdue of Montgomery, Ala.; two granddaughters, Kim Kelley (Aaron) and Angie Rogers (Michael) of Prattville, Ala.; four great granddaughters Taylor Akers of Russellville, Ark., Jamie Kelley of Greenville, Ala., Haley Jones-Palmer of Prattville, Ala., and Kristian Rogers of Prattville, Ala.; one great-great granddaughter, Brooklynn Nevaeh Hensley of Prattville, Ala.; two brothers, Perry Heartsill of Greenville, Ala., and Nathan Heartsill of Fort Deposit, Ala. The family wishes to thank the staff of Crowne Nursing Home for the wonderful care they took of our mother.
