Weather, road conditions force delay in newspaper delivery

Due to the current hazardous road conditions and road closures, delivery of The Greenville Advocate will once again be postponed.
A winter storm that has dumped ice and snow across the state forced the Advocate to delay Wednesday delivery. Staff members had hoped that road conditions would improve Wednesday allowing the paper to be delivered on Thursday, but many of the roads across the county and state remain impassable.
“We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our readers and advertising partners, but the safety of our staff is most important and is our top priority,” said Tracy Salter, president and publisher of Greenville Newspapers, LLC.
Subscribers should receive the newspaper in the mail on Friday, and copies of the newspaper will be available in the news racks late Thursday evening, according to Salter.
