Army Chief Warrant Officer 3 Andrea R. Owens has graduated from the Warrant Officer Advanced Course at Fort Lee, Petersburg, Va.

The 10-week course is level three of the five level warrant officer education system.  The course focuses on advanced technical training and common leader development subjects designed to prepare the officer for assignment in the chief warrant officer three level position.

Course subjects included financial management, general military subjects, basic property book procedures, property accounting supply systems, materiel management and logistics, combat service support, and basic contracting procedures.

Owens has served in the military for 18 years.

He is the son of Bobbie and James Owens of Greenville.

He is a 1995 graduate of McKenzie School.
