“American Pickers” is a reality show that follows skilled pickers Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz, as they embark on a road trip across the U.S.

The show follows the pickers in their van as they go on a mission in search of America’s most fascinating and valuable antiques – treasures that have been forgotten in junkyards and barns across the country.

Producers of the show have announced that Wolfe and Fritz will bring their search to Alabama, and are currently looking for leads on interesting characters with unique items and lots of them.

According to the show’s producers, Wolfe and Fritz are looking for people who have multiple buildings crammed with items so the pickers really have to work for what they find by digging through piles and coming up with treasure.

The pickers will pay for rare items such as old advertising signs, vintage movie memorabilia, early Boy Scout items, pre-1950s western gear, classic motorcycle memorabilia, Civil War antiques, vintage gas pumps, folk art, vintage law enforcement collectibles and other unusual or historical items.

The pair is currently not looking for farming/agriculture items, tools, glassware, appliances, tractors, crocks, stoves or country primitives, and they don’t go to shops, antiques malls, auctions or flea markets.

For more information or to provide a lead, call (646) 493-2184 and leave a message.

Those providing a lead can also email americanpickers@cineflix.com. Those who email should include name, number, town, state and the type of items along with pictures of items.
