Reverse Tiger Walk planned for Tuesday in Montgomery

The Montgomery Regional Airport and Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce have planned a Reverse Tiger Walk to send off the Auburn University football team as they fly out to Pasadena, Calif., for the BCS National Championship.

Fans are invited to attend the event held at the Montgomery Regional Airport on Tuesday.

Organizers recommended that fans arrive before 10 a.m. Parking will be available in the short term parking lot for $1 per thirty minutes and in the long term parking lot for $1 per hour. Attendees should follow directional signage to find the Tiger Walk site along the fence line to the west of the main terminal.

Greenville’s Kenneth Carter is a senior defensive end for the Tigers.

Carter, who saw action in Auburn’s 2010 win over Oregon University in the BCS National Championship, has played in 13 games this season and has recorded nine tackles, including three for  a loss.

No. 2 Auburn will square off with No. 1 Florida State at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 6.
