Jewel Newton Salter, 94, a residence of Greenville, died Dec. 6. Funeral services will be held Dec. 9 at 11 a.m. from Harrison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Herbert Brown officiating and Harrison Funeral Home directing. Interment will follow at Sunrise Cemetery. Survivors include several nieces and nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be at Harrison Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Monday. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Ebenezer East Baptist Church.
