Crenshaw County authorities are investigating an apparent homicide in the Davenport community area near Hwy. 97.

The incident occurred Wednesday afternoon and Assistant District Attorney Levi Nichols said a black male was killed.

Nichols said Friday morning that local authorities have arrested and charged Vincent Lowe with the murder of Albert Lee.

” The investigation is ongoing and we are looking at all leads,” Nichols said.
