Several Crenshaw County Board of Education Employees received Star Excellence Awards at the Board Meeting Monday night. Receiving notice were:

• 3rd Grade Reading, Melissa McDougald and Andrea Smith- 94 percent proficiency
• 3rd Grade Math, Shelly Hughes and Jo Ann McCartha- 96 percent proficiency
• 4th Grade Reading- Judy Mitchell 98 percent proficiency
• 4th Grade Math-  April Hall 100 percent proficiency
• 5th Grade Science-  Michael Sport- 92 percent proficiency
• 6th Grade Math-  Becky Richardson-  95 percent Proficiency
• 6th Grade Math-  Donna McDougald- 94 percent proficiency
• 7th Grade Reading-  Linda Brook – 93 percent proficiency

Teachers were recognized for the proficiency, according to ARMT results.
