Oscar Bryant Thomas, 81, a resident of Greenville, died on Saturday, Oct.12, at Baptist South Hospital in Montgomery. Services will be held in the chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home on Wednesday, Oct. 16, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Herbert Brown and Rev. Wallace Newton officiating.  Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home will direct.  Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Oct. 15, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home.

Mr. Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Betty Thomas of Greenville; son, Michael Thomas (Lisa) of Maylene, Ala.; two grandchildren, Ellen Thomas of Austin, Texas, and Grady Thomas of Clemson, S.C.; sister Opal Smith of Opelika, Ala., and numerous nieces and nephews.
