A Luverne native was recently selected by the Office of Student Life to help lead Huntingdon College’s Freshman Forum for the current academic year.

Morgan Baines will serve as vice president of the organization. She is joined by President Buck Robinson of Washington, Ga.; Treasurer Tori Money of Dothan; Secretary Lexie Ofe of Montgomery and Community Service Chair Jeffery Postell of Montgomery.

Freshman Forum is a year-long program specifically designed for incoming freshmen. The group’s main purposes are to enhance the leadership skills of its members and to promote a culture of committed campus involvement among all freshmen.  Freshman Forum gives students the opportunity to experience leadership development through event planning and learning how to make a positive and effective contribution in any involvement role.
