JOSEPH PRESTON RICHBURG

RICHBURG, Mr. Joseph Preston, 61, a resident of Goshen died Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013.  Funeral  services were held at 11 am Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013 at the Springhill Baptist Church with Rev. W. O. Sanders, Rev. Lamar Gibson and Rev. David Richburg officiating.

Interment  followed in the church cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mr. Richburg was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Rheba Carnes Richburg and his father-in-law, Robert Quincey  Carter.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Patti Carter Richburg; two children, Joseph Robert (Samantha) Richburg and Shannon Richburg (Robbie) Sharp; four grandchildren, Kendall Sharp, Brandi Duncan, Paige Brunson and Kaley Brunson; one great grandchild, Auston Sharp; mother-in-law, Betty J. Carter; sister, Sheila (Karl) Eiland; and an aunt, Mary (Larry) Allen.

Active pallbearers were Ty Eiland, Will McCrory, David Carter, Luke Hughes, Karl Eiland and Lewis Hughes.
