Arkie Belle Black, 92, a resident of Georgiana, died Friday, Sept. 20, 2013. Funeral services were held Sept. 23 from the Johnson Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Mike Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana directing arrangements. Survivors include, daughters, Janice (Cecil) Strickland, Selma, Ala., and Annette (Jimmy) Kelley, Georgiana, Ala.; son, Royce (Pauline) Black, Greenville, Ala.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
