Margaret Louise Mathis, 89, a resident of Georgiana, Ala., passed away on Sunday, Aug. 25, 2013. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, at Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Harvill officiating. Burial will follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Georgiana with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana directing arrangements. The family will receive friends Wednesday, Aug. 28, from 9:30 until service time. Ms. Mathis is survived by her daughters, Sherry Pierson, Georgiana, and Recie McInvale, Greenville, Ala.; son, John Mathis, Deatsville, Ala.; sister, Eva Mae Johnson, Montgomery, Ala.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
