Elizabeth Hutchinson Seale

Elizabeth Hutchinson Seale, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013, at her son’s home in Greenville, Ala., under the care of hospice. The family will receive friends on Monday, Aug. 19, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 20, at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with pastor David Saliba officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Home Cemetery.

Elizabeth was born on Aug. 28, 1926, in Greenville, Ala., the daughter of Nello and Betty Hutchinson. She united in marriage to James E. Seale on Dec. 18, 1946. He preceded her in death on Dec. 6, 1990. They were married for 44 wonderful years. After graduating from Greenville High School she worked in Washington D.C. for Western Union at the Pentagon as a Teletype operator during World War II.

Elizabeth had an unwavering faith in God.  She was an active member of the Montery Methodist Church and Forest Home Methodist Church. She raised her family in the church and once bed ridden, she was faithful each Sunday morning watching services on television. She will be fondly remembered for her love of family and friends always willing to help in any way.

She is survived by two sons; James Ronnie (Gail) Seale of Greenville, Ala., and Frank Gary (Barbara) Seale of Forest Home, Ala.; five grandchildren, Martha, Kristy, James, Chris and Justin; 11 great-grandchildren; one brother, Bertie (Betty) Hutchinson of Montgomery, Ala.; and countless cousins, nieces, and nephews who loved her dearly.
