Reby Boswell Allen
ALLEN, Mrs. Reby Boswell, 87, a resident of Luverne died Wednesday, August 14, 2013.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 16, 2013 from Turner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Defee officiating.
Interment will follow in Centenary Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.
Mrs. Allen is preceded in death by three husbands, James Rogers, E.G. Owens and Cliff Allen; parents, Ezra and Minnie Boswell; five brothers and one sister.
She is survived by three children, Barbara (Charles) Phillips, Dale(Peggy) Rogers and Betty(LaDon) Wood; nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
Active pallbearers will be Blake Johnson, Brandon Johnson, Chaz Latshaw, Evens McVay, Jeff Davis, James Edwards, Jr., Eddie Boswell and Chris Meeks. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.
Donnie W. Malone
MALONE, Mr. Donnie W., 63, a resident of Honoraville died suddenly Tuesday August 13, 2013.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Thursday August 15, 2013 at Union Baptist Church with Rev. William Burns officiating.
Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.
Mr. Malone is preceded in death by his father, Sidney E. Malone. Survivors include his wife, Janice A. Malone; his mother, Doris H. Malone; two children, Shannon (Shanna) Malone and Beth (David) Higgins; four step-children, Rita Shugrue, Michelle (Theo) Goodin, David Holman and Mark Holman; eleven grandchildren; and two sisters, Marilyn (Tracy) Mills and Carolyn (Tom) Boswell. Active pallbearers will be Tom Boswell, Tracy Mills, Mark Holman, David Holman, Theo Goodin and Eugene Taylor.
The family received friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.
Guy Lamar Perdue
PERDUE, Mr. Guy Lamar, 93, a resident of Luverne, died Friday, August 9, 2013.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, August 11, 2013 at 3 p.m., from Turner Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Mike Thomas and William Leverette officiating.
Interment followed in Emmaus Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.
Mr. Perdue was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil & Annie Lou Perdue, his sister, Julia Perdue, and his brother, Jack Perdue.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Betty Perdue; five children, Patricia (Billy) Davis, Bob (Rita) Perdue, Jim Perdue, Tom (Penny) Perdue, and Jason (Michelle) Perdue; ten grandchildren, Julie D. Goetz, Mark Perdue, Wes Davis, Matthew Perdue, Mike Perdue, Ethan Perdue, Jonathan Perdue, Mary Cathryn Perdue, Emma Taylor, and Blakely Perdue; and his great grandson, Will Davis. Grandsons served as pallbearers.
