Hysco donates $1,000 for bookbag giveaway

Jonathan Byrd, human resources and general affairs manager for Hyundai Hysco, presented Greenville Mayor Dexter McLendon with a check Friday for $1,000 to help with the cost of purchasing 550 bookbags for the city’s second annual bookbag giveaway. The bookbag giveaway will be held today at 8 a.m. at the Greenville YMCA. The bookbags will be given to students in kindergarten through eighth grade.
