Roland Guy “Chief” Walton, Jr., age 89, a resident of Fort Myers, Fla., and formerly Greenville, Ala., recently passed away.  Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, in Magnolia Cemetery with Rev. Wallace Newton officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. at Dunkllin & Daniels Funeral Home.  Mr. Walton was preceded in death by his parents Roland and Annie Lee Kettler Walton; sisters, Betty Walton Carnathan and Nell Walton Barcelona; aunts, Sadie Kettler Pope, Ruth Kettler Rhodes and Myra Walton. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Jeanette Gibson Walton of Ft. Myers, Fla.; daughters  Linda (Dr. Clay Reynolds III) of Longwood, Fla., and Jean (Robert DiMuzio Jr.) of Port Charlotte, Fla.; grandchildren,  Evie (Tim) Thoner, C. Murphy (Linda) Reynolds IV, Carrie (Steve) Madden, Jason (Crystal) Reynolds, and Melanie (Brock) Bigelow; nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Butler County Historical Society & Genealogical Society, P.O.
