Since 2000, the Butler County Farmers Federation has been awarding scholarships to deserving students.

On Wednesday, the organization recognized its latest crop of recipients at a reception at Cambrian Ridge.

“This year we were able to award seven scholarships,” said Carey Thompson, chairman of the BCFF Scholarship Committee. “Each year we try to award one student from each of the four schools in Butler County with a scholarship, and we’re excited to be able to recognize these students today.”
