Mrs. Helen Walker Hockett, 77, a resident of Honoraville died Saturday April 27, 2013. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Union Cemetery with Rev. William Burns officiating and Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Hockett was preceded in death by her parents, Gip and Ethel Walker; a sister, Thanna Grayson Powell; and two brothers, Grady Walker and Wilfred Walker. Survivors include a son, Dana Mac Bray of Valdosta, Ga.; three sisters, Betty C. Thomas of Honoraville, Erlene W. Watson of Tucker, Ga., and Janice W. Barron of Troy; and a number of nieces and nephews.
