Police bust Blush burglar

A Greenville man has been arrested after stealing nearly $8,000 in merchandise from Blush Beauty Boutique.

James Bozeman, 46, was arrested at his Ogelsby Street home after he was captured taking merchandise and cash from Blush Beauty Boutique.

According to authorities, Bozeman kicked in the back door to the business and stole merchandise and $300 in cash from the store.

“Sgt. (Kenneth) Hadley got the video from inside the store and was able to see one black male inside the store,” Greenville Police Department Lt. Justin Lovvorn said. “He and Officer Thomas Halford then began to canvas the neighborhood and developed a lead that led them to Bozeman’s house.”

Lovvorn said when authorities knocked on the door, Bozeman answered and immediately confessed to breaking in and stealing the merchandise from the store.

Bozeman has been charged with two counts of burglary, third degree, and theft of property, first degree.
