John A. Nall

John A. Nall, a resident of Montgomery, Ala., went to be with His Lord on March 10, 2013 after a 10-year battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by his mother, Clyda M. Nal;, father, Leonard W. Nall; brother, Luther L. Nall; and wife, Anne S. Nall. He is survived by his much loved stepson, Todd Corvin (Kathy) of Chattanooga, Tenn.; sister, Betty N. Snowden (Clarence) of Montgomery, Ala.; brothers, Leonard W. Nall, Jr. (Peggy) of Lowndesboro, Ala.; Douglas Nall (Juanita) of Wewahatchee, Fla.; many nieces and nephews, and special friend Cathy Sharp of Montgomery, Ala. Born in Pine Apple, Ala., on April 19, 1944, he graduated from Moore Academy and attended University of Alabama, Troy University, graduated from University of Tennessee-Chattanooga with a degree in business accounting. John spent many years in the insurance accounting business with Volunteer State Life Insurance, CO/CHUBB Life America, State Mutual Insurance Co. and The Goff Group. He was a member of United Methodist Church in Pine Apple, Ala. His body has been cremated with ashes to be buried next to Ann S. Nall in Hamilton Memorial Gardens, Chattanooga, Tenn., and in the family burial plot at the Friendship Baptist Cemetery, Pine Apple, Ala.

Memorial services will be held Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at Frazier United Methodist Church Chapel, 6000 Atlanta Hwy, Montgomery, AL 36116. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Moore Academy Alumni Association, Pine Apple, AL 36768 or the American Cancer Society.
