Betty Jane (Callins) Jones, 82 a resident of Pine Apple (Awin), Ala., died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013 at her home. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 1 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Harrison Funeral Home with Rev. Cleve Stabler officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Cemetery with Harrison Funeral Home directing. A visitation will be held Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Survivors include: six children, Linda (Barney) Owens, Gladys (Lewis) Anderson, James W. (Pat) Jones, Brenda S. (Ricky) Sheffield, Johnny R. (April) Jones and Henry F. (Victoria) Jones; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; brother, Bobby (Lola) Callins of Greenville; and sister Mary Hester of Mobile, Ala.

Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny W. Jones; sister, Ila Ruth Callins and brothers, Donald and John Edwards.

She was born in Butler County and was a member of Awin Baptist Church.
