Friends and family members welcomed home members of the Alabama Army National Guard’s 781st Transportation Company at a ceremony Friday at the Fort Deposit Municipal Complex. The 781st deployed nearly 120 Alabama National Guard soldiers to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. The 781st provided transportation support to units throughout the area of operations.
