Elliott joins BankTrust

Matthew S. Elliott has joined BankTrust as vice president and commercial lender.
With more than 19 years of experience in lending and operations, Matthew will assist customers with consumer and commercial loans, deposit products and cash management services. His office is at the downtown Greenville location of BankTrust.
Matthew earned his degree in commerce and business administration from the University of Alabama. He, his wife Cody, and their two sons, Caison and Lucas, moved to Greenville in July 2010. The Elliotts are actively involved with local schools, youth sports throughout the community, and children’s ministries at First Baptist Church in Greenville.
Matthew is actively involved with the Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce and will serve on the City of Greenville Planning Commission in 2013. He was recently nominated to the Alabama Leadership Link Program co-sponsored by the Business Council of Alabama and the Chamber of Commerce Association of Alabama. He has served as president of the Greenville Middle School PTO, Treasurer of the GMS Booster Club, and as a public address announcer for Greenville High School football games. His past civic involvement includes the Miracle League of Arkansas, the Troy Miracle League Planning and Development Board, Leadership Rankin (Mississippi) and Leadership Paragould (Arkansas).
