Mr. James Ray Rigdon, age 83, a former resident of Greenville and a resident of

Red Level, died on Dec. 6, 2012, at his home. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home.  Rev. Glen Vaughn and Rev. Carl Turman officiated. Burial followed in Sunrise Memorial Park with Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Mr. Rigdon was preceded in death by his wife, Blanche W. Rigdon and son, Roger Clayton Rigdon.  Survivors include three sons, Richard Ray Rigdon (Hana) of New Braunfels, Texas; James Ronald Rigdon (Jennifer) of Boerne, Texas; and Patrick Russell Rigdon of Red Level, Ala; seven grandchildren, Derek Rigdon (April), Nikki Stephens (Amos), Christy Davis, Brian Rigdon, Ashley Carter (Jason), Lauren Green (Clif), and Russell Rigdon (Loran); 13 great-great grandchildren; sister, Ruth Free (Herman) of Prattville, Ala., brother, Julian Rigdon (Rhonda) of Cleveland, Tenn., and one niece and three nephews.
