The City of Greenville’s annual Christmas parade will be held Dec. 6.
Floats, marching bands and even jolly ol’ Saint Nick himself, will make their way from Bolling Street down Commerce Street to the Butler County Courthouse.
The theme for this year’s parade is “Christmas Around the World.”
The deadline to register to march or enter a float in the parade is Friday at 5 p.m. Those interested should contact the Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce at (334) 382-3251.
“We’d really love for everyone to come out and be a part of it,” Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Francine Wasden said. “It’s such a wonderful community event.”
The parade is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.
Prior to the start of the parade, the City of Greenville will hold its Christmas tree lighting ceremony at Confederate Park.
The ceremony is set to begin at 6:15 p.m.
