Millard Martin “Marty” Reynolds, Jr., 58, of Plantersville died Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at Joe Lee Griffin Hope Lodge in Birmingham.

He was born on Friday, June 18, 1954, in Dallas Co., Ala., to the late Millard Martin Reynolds and Betty Jean Hodgens Reynolds.

He was a supervisor.

He is survived by his wife, Hilda Rigsby Reynolds of Plantersville, Ala; son, Tony (Renee) Reynolds of Lawley, Ala.; Daughter, Jeannie (Cliff) Smith of Lawley, Ala.; step-sons, Tyler (Heather) Brooks of Virginia Beach, Va., Hunter Brooks of Plantersville, Ala.; mother, Betty Jean Reynolds of Stanton, Ala.; sister, Ryanne Reynolds (Dr. Philip) Johnson of Hoover, Ala.; brother, Mike (Lori) Reynolds of Selma, Ala.; half-brother, Frank (Kim) Reynolds of Plantersville, Ala.; grandchildren, Trent, Emilee and Lexi Smith of Lawley, Ala.; niece, Dr. Kathryn Johnson of Chapel Hill, N.C.; nephew, Mitchell Johnson of Hoover, Ala.

He was preceded in death by his father, Millard Reynolds and nephew, Taylor Reynolds.

Services were held Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at Plantersville Christian with Rev. Mike Wyatt and Rev. Tony Reynolds officiating.

Interment followed in Plantersville Christian, Plantersville, Alabama.

Honorary pallbearers included all Maplesville AA group members.

Pallbearers were David Atchison, William Earl Seales, Donald Gay, Bob Bagby, Steve Brown, Frank Brown, W.C. Hayes and Bobby Harrison.
