Crash sends four to hospital

A two-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon sent four Butler County residents to the hospital for injuries sustained during the crash.
According to Alabama State Troopers, a 1998 Plymouth driven by Noah Flowers III of Greenville collided with a 2006 International driven by Jerry Adams of Butler, Ala., at approximately 4:45 p.m. near mile marker 146 on U.S. Hwy. 31.
Noah Flowers, along with his wife Michelle Flowers and their two children, were transported to L.V. Stabler Memorial Hospital for treatment.
According to Trooper Kevin Cook, Michelle Flowers and a 7-year-old child were later transferred to Baptist Health Care in Pensacola, Fla., and Children’s Hospital of Alabama in Birmingham, respectively, for further treatment.
Cook said Adams was uninjured in the accident.
No other information is currently available. The accident is still under investigation.
