Mrs. Mildred L. Stacey, 92, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2012. Mrs. Stacey was a resident of Excel but had lived in Monroe County all her life. She was a retired seamstress from Vanity Fair Mills. Mrs. Stacey was a member of Excel Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by three sons. She is survived by two sons, William T. (Valeria) Stacey of Greenville, Ala., and Cecil (Joyce) Stacey of Saraland, Ala.; one special niece Erline House of Monroeville, Ala.; 10 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
