Lester Odom garnered 91 votes to defeat Bill Henry in Tuesday’s runoff election for the mayor of the Town of Georgiana.

Henry received 59 votes.

In the August municipal election, Odom received 61 votes, while Henry received 47.

Odom will replace incumbent Mayor Melvin Shufford, who received 41 votes in August.
