Dean recognized for contributions to WSS

Greenville native Ramona Moody Dean was recently recognized for her contributions to the Weapon System Sustainment Directorate.
Jerry D. Messer, Director of the Weapon System Sustainment, Ground-Based Midcourse Defense recognized Dean’s “hard work and attention to detail, ” which “greatly contributed to the successful development and execution of GMD logistics budget activities.”
Messer called Dean, “an invaluable member of his staff” and said that her “dedication reflects great credit upon herself, the Weapons System Sustainment Directorate and the Ground-Based Midcourse Defense.”
Dean has transitioned to a position with the Directorate for Program Management Support in Integrated Material Management Center (IMMC), which is the logistics component of the U. S. Army’s Aviation and Missile Life Cycle Management Command (AMCOM) headquartered at Redstone Arsenal, Ala.
She is married to David Dean, director of surgery at Decatur Hospital, and is the mother of two sons, Brody and Dylan. She is the daughter of Cecil and Patricia Moody.
