Chamber Chow-Down set for Thursday

The Greenville Area of Commerce is inviting Butler County residents to chow down.
The Chamber Chow-Down will be held Thursday at the Butler County Fairgrounds.
The event will feature live entertainment by local musicians Caleb Luckie and T.J. Bender.
And what would an event named a Chow-Down be without food?
According to the GAAC, there will be fried shrimp, hot tomato grits, red beans and rice, hush puppies, Conecuh sausage and more.
Door prizes, including a 32-inch flat screen television, will be given out throughout the night.
Tickets are $25 and must be purchased by Tuesday. They can be purchased at the Chamber of Commerce or from the following Chamber board members: Petey Cureton, David Norrell, Payne Meadows, Jim Krudop, Don Daniels, Gregg Fuller, Caleb Gardner, Meredith Mann, Rebecca Reynolds, David Scott, John Snellgrove, James Packer III, Jennifer Pemberton, Josh Simmons, Nancy Falkenberry, Bill Lewis, Glenn Cooper, Rodger Harris, Tera Simmons and Chad McGriff.
Attendees must be 21 year old.
The event will begin at 6 p.m.
